Hello everyone! Almost half of the spring semester has gone by. Assignments, papers, and midterms sure must worry you at this point of time, doesn't it? In order to help you relief all the burdens of school, let's recall what we did during the first half of this semester.

Welcome Back Party & Merdekaraya

Hello everyone! Cheers to our very first post in this website!!

So, last week we had our first gathering of the academic season, Welcome Back Party and Merdekaraya. Welcome Back Party is a MSSUI tradition, held at the start of every new semester. While Merdekaraya is an event that combines the celebration of Malaysia's 58th Independence Day and Eid ul Fitri. Merdeka (Independence Day) is a national day of Malaysia commemorating the independence of the Federation of Malaya from British colonial rule in 1957, celebrated on 31 August each year, and Raya is simply means Eid. Combine these together, voilá, Merdekaraya it is!
